Tru-Line Drafting was incorporated in the province of British Columbia, Canada in August of 1986. We are currently celebrating our 24th year in business specializing in the preparation of structural steel / miscellaneous shop drawings.

There are two principles of the company, each having graduated from the Structural Steel Detail and Design course at Vancouver Vocational Institute in June of 1975 and now have over thirty years experience in the detailing industry and, therefore, understand and adhere to the specific needs of each individual fabricator.

Tru-Line Drafting associated with Techflow Engineers, operate within a computer based environment. Currently we are running AutoCad and Tekla structures (X-Steel) modeling software. We have a production capability of 20,000+ man hours per month. Our westcoast office, located in Surrey, B.C. handles project management and checking while our offshore office (200+ modelers/editors with 100+ Tekla licenses) produce the models and shop drawings for most projects.

Over the past 24+ years we have established an excellent reputation and pride ourselves on the quality of our work and the level of customer satisfaction we provide to our clients. We have every intention of continuing this quality service well into the future and are always searching for ways to improve the service we provide.
